Setting you up for Success

snowshoe running

We all know how it feels to be set up for failure, but what about getting set up for success?

When you start working with our clinic we will ask you about your health goals and what are your expectations of working with us.  We take this very seriously.  We truly want you to succeed.

The name of our clinic is intentional.  A doubletrack trail is one where two people can be walking alongside each other.  There is no pushing or pulling, so pacing is important.  Progress is not always linear so it is important to us that we work together as a team to maintain realistic expectations.

Some of the ways that we strive to set up our patients for success include listening to our patients stories, understanding the values our patients have, and appreciating their limitations.  We understand that many of the treatments/modalities that we recommend may be different that they are used to and take folks out of their comfort zones and this can be a challenge.  However, getting out of your comfort zone and trying new things can be an amazing experience and help you achieve your goals and experience something different.

Things that you can do to help achieve your health goals are to consider exactly what you would like to accomplish health wise.  The more specific the better.  It is also helpful to come to your appointment with specific questions and things you would like to discuss with us.  We aim to create a safe environment and there is nothing that you should be embarrassed about and the more open you can be with us the better we can help you.

When you are ready to start working on your health goals, schedule your appointment with us to create a pathway for success.
